The game Posted June 29, 2005 Share Posted June 29, 2005 is there any way to ndisable the restart notification after you have installed some updates???because right this morning i installed some updates, i run a game and after 5 mins it al gets focked up because that window is saying that i need to restart.. Although, I don't know how to automate group policy stuff, here's how to disable the restart.* In the Start Menu go to Run type “gpedit.msc” and press Enter * Now a Group Policy editor will open. In this window navigate to: Computer Configuration -> Administrative Template -> Windows Components -> Windows Update * Double click on No auto-restart for scheduled Automatic Updates installations * In the settings window Choose Enabled and click OK * Close Group Policy EditorHope it helps!Regards,Marthax Edited July 16, 2005 by Marthax Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
