f0rbez
I've seen alot of stuff about how reg files won't import at t-12, using CMDLINES.TXT. I didn't realize until after I made my own tweaks that it wasnt working. However, I notice everywhere people are referring to "REGEDIT32.EXE".Looked normal to me, thats what I used too. Then I thought about it for a sec, and realized there is no regedit32.exe!! The only ones are regedit.exe and regedt32.exe.Which of these are the ones I should be using to import the tweaks?I'm thinking regedt32.exe just because it looks like the core of the reg edit prog. benners
Use regedit.exe and add /s if you want to import the entries silently, In Windows XP and Windows Server 2003, Regedt32.exe is a small program that just runs Regedit.exe. sleepnmojo
Back in the 9X days the programs were different. Now both programs are the same. Regedt32 is just a loader for regedit now. I'd stick with regedit.
f0rbez
I was impatient and tried regedt32.exe. Everything seemed to import fine. I guess it doesn't matter then. Thx.
