Jim624
Got a D-link router been using it for about a year....all of the sudden when I try to send emails I get "Cannot connect to server".... called my ISP we did all kinds of tests......they said it was not on their end. So I decided to connect my cable directly from my cable modem to the computer...and wahlah.....I can now send email. Does this mean my router is shot or did some settings get messed up some how ?? sheiksoft
hithis problem is the dlink needs to be configured properly.make sure u have configured the dlink with the dsl modem.try connecting the dlink and open the ip : 192.168.0.1You will be asked to type in a User Name and Password to login to your DLink router. The default is admin for the User Name and the password is blank(no password). Press the OK button after typing in your username and password.update the user information and password and restart the router and check it...regards sheik...
