Because, it's not available in the bios boot section. So, i can't boot my computer from the Longhorn bootable DVD. I want to setup longhorn to clean/formatted hard disk partition. I tryed to setup lh under the dos, but it didn't work. The setup.exe don't run in the ms-dos. Is it available parameter for the setup under the dos? What can i do? Could u help me please?By the way, can i edit the dvd boot image and write to bootable cd for the show longhorn setup/boot folder under anyone hard disk partition ?
Blam-O! Posted May 21, 2005 Posted May 21, 2005 I don't quite understand the last part of your post.No I don't beleive Longhorn was ment to work under MS-DOS. (Read the other posts, you will find how to install longhorn)Use Daemon Tools to mount the image. Then install Longhorn from within Windows XP.Or use VMware Workstation to simluate the install proccess. Make a Windows 2003 Server install, don't use the other ones, and make sure to preformat the Disk space as NTFS with at least 6GB.(next time use the "Search" fuction...)
