valter Posted May 17, 2005 Share Posted May 17, 2005 WininstallLE is cool simple stuff, the ONLY problem is that before and after snapshots must be taken on clean machine ... means only Windows installed ... any extra software will create additional keys in the registry that you WILL later import into another computer ... Wyverex Posted June 1, 2005 Share Posted June 1, 2005 Hi,I recently made quite a few MSI packages with WininstallLE, on a system running for about 4 years of Windows XP and it works great. It simply looks at the system before installation (Before snapshot) and then looks at the system after the installation of the software (after snapshot) and adds the changes to the MSI package. It didn’t add the full registry or keys from other software.
