TheDr!ll
Hi all, I am having problems with my unattended install on XP 64 bit..I followed green machines tutorial to the end..my XP 32 bit works perfectly..so why wont my XP 64 ?I used the proper 64 bit nforce 3 drivers 6.25 beta (ASUS K8N board)and winnt.sif and txtsetup.sif are in the AMD64 folder, also cabbed up the driver files and put them in the AMD64 and i386 folders..The install completes, but when it reboots to re-start windows again it doesnt..and just re-boots again and again ...anyone shed any light on the subject.cheers. jbm
Is this with the relesed version or the beta versions RC1 or RC2?I couldn't get it to work with my K8N-E board with RC1 or RC2 so I'mwaiting to see how the released version works. Or Nvidia releases newdrivers.
TheDr!ll
This is the final version of XP 64 service pack one build 3790...Ive got a feeling its something in the [sourceDisksFiles] causing the problem because, its that section that determines where the files are sent to... I think?Maybe there is another directory that needs these files sending to in XP 64? anyone....
mmarable
I'd start simple. Go with an unattended vanilla install, don't add in any drivers or do any app installs. Then start adding things in one by one.I know it's a hassle, but obviously something is triggering the reboot cycle.

pontiacmn
Not sure if this will help, but I had the same problem with my 32 bit version. After install it would show the windows xp logo and then reboot right away and kept doing it. Turned out to be my winnt.sif file. I had OemPreinstall=no. I changed that to yes and then it worked. Like i said that was 32 bit version though. Hope that helps.
