Ghettochild
I keep getting these errors from Outlook express in my unattenced xp dvd....."The current identity could not be changed because one of the applications was unable to switch. Close any open dialog boxes in other applications before trying again."I know how to fix this, you go to regedit and delete the folder under 'identities'which can be located under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\IDENTITIES\(FOLDER*)I know it could be the winnt.sif that does this. here is my one.[Data] AutoPartition=0 MsDosInitiated="0" UnattendedInstall="Yes"[unattended] UnattendMode=FullUnattended OemSkipEula=Yes OemPreinstall=Yes TargetPath=\WINDOWS FileSystem=* UnattendSwitch="yes" WaitForReboot="No" Hibernation=No NonDriverSigningPolicy=Ignore DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore OemPnPDriversPath="Drivers\001_Graphics;Drivers\002_Modem;Drivers\003_audio;Drivers\004_capture;Drivers\005_sbaudio;Drivers\006_rhinelan;Drivers\007_realteklan;Drivers\008_webcam" KeyboardLayout="US"[GuiUnattended] AdminPassword=* EncryptedAdminPassword=NO OEMSkipRegional=1 TimeZone=255 OemSkipWelcome=1[userData] ProductKey=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx FullName="Danny" OrgName="DT Ltd" ComputerName=DWM[Display] BitsPerPel=32 Xresolution=1280 YResolution=1024 Vrefresh=60[TapiLocation] CountryCode=61 Dialing=Tone AreaCode=07[RegionalSettings] LanguageGroup=1,7 SystemLocale=00000c09 UserLocale=00000c09 InputLocale=0c09:00000409[branding] BrandIEUsingUnattended=Yes Home_Page=www.ninemsn.com.au Search_Page=www.google.com [identification] JoinWorkgroup=WORKGROUP[Networking] InstallDefaultComponents=Yes[Components] msmsgs=off msnexplr=off moviemk=off hearts=off minesweeper=off pinball=off solitaire=off spider=off freecell=off zonegames=off fax=on accessop=off deskpaper=off rec=off TerminalServer=offMy problem is how to fix this in my unattended project, instead of having to do it manually or even a total fix for this problem would be good. Can someone please help. Ghettochild
I found out the problem!!!!I know what the problem was it was the regfile. This was the entryWindows Registry Editor Version 5.00;outlook window title[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{E2883460-019D-11D8-AC1F-AA7C5EECB833} \Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0]"WindowTitle"="[LiL BoY Studios. CoRP. OuTLooK X-PReSS]"This is why it was showing 2 identities. Stupid regfile...LOL Not gonna use that regfile.
