Disable F1

get this a lot of the time in work, take out the keyboard and clean it well, make sure there's no crap under the F1 key or on the contact

what laptop make/model is it, someone might be able to help you with getting the keyboard out, there's usually some small catches along the edges of them!

The keyboard was just replaced on the laptop a couple of weeks ago so that "shouldn't" be fault, but you never know. We're going to disable the F1 key for a little while and see if that fixes it. Thanks for the help.
