Xeon3D
Hi... having read the IP Sig thread on this forum, I've been wondering if anyone knew how to make something like what http://www.wide-screen.co.uk/ shows.Look under the logo and you'll see something like:A special welcome to Widescreen XP visitors from Albufeira, Portugal. Not only it was correct for the country, as it knew the exact city (and it's a small one I must add)..I wondered if there's some PHP Code that could be put into a siggie... 1st Post. dman
this piece of source code of your example page<script language="javascript" src="http://map.geoup.com/~43608/geoup?template=widescreen" class="style17"></script> calls this site to get location. code probably uses ip address to determine locationhttp://www.geobytes.com/
matrix0978
Yes. There is a PHP code that does that. Automatically finds your location through your IP.

matrix0978
If you direct the PHP to the site that does located your IP address. But i would have to try and write a script doing so.
