Easy SFV Creator 2.7.0

Hello,

I'm looking for a silent install switches of Easy SFV Creator 2.7.0

Easy to use program that creates and reads (verify) SFV files. A .SFV file contains a list of file names and special values called CRC checksums. These checksums can have a value in the range of 0 to around 4 billion (for CRC32 sums). These checksums allow files to be verified. If a file becomes corrupt during transferring, the file's checksum will be different to the checksum contained in the .SFV file. This allows .SFV programs to detect corrupt files.

I've tried all switches methods Inno, Installshield, NSIS, Wise... without success.

TNX for yr help

Hi,

TNX, regarding QuickSFV I've modifird THIS from 230 to version 232.

For myself Easy SFV Creator 2.7.0 it better than QuickSFV!

Because i use to use it since long time, it's very friendly to use and reliable.

and HERE Easy MD5 Creator 1.4.0 from the same Author.

Let me know if you'll prepare the sielent install.

Least but NOT Last HKSFV 2.0.1 (build 84)

I spent a lot of time looking for an SFV+MD5 checker

Well, I just downloaded hkSFV, and I've gotta say it's a the best one.

It has interesting drag/drop support.

It's much more simple & intuitive.

It doesn't screw up when you try to uninstall it.

Is light (228k) quick and easy and free.

hkSFV is just excellent. It creates an hkSFV context menu on right-click which has the options:

Check file(s)

Create SFV

Create MD5

You can select multiple files and then just "Create MD5" without even launching hkSFV.

In hkSFV, you can drag/drop MD5/SFV files and it will verify.

You can drag/drop any other files and it will search for a MD5/SFV and attempt to verify the files.

You can't drag/drop files you want to encode (because it'll just try to verity them), but when creating an MD5/SFV, you can add a whole directory at a time.

For silent install use the swiche hkSFVsetup.exe /S (Capital S)

Wow. Maybe I have to switch. :) hkSFV looks good. I will also try to build a silent installer for EasySFV. I don't really need it but I will do it just for fun.

About QuickSFV, I didn't see that thread by master Mazin, that's why I made my own. Searching really helps sometimes.

[edit] Hey you didn't tell me that Easy SFV Creator is a shareware!

I've a Retail one. Let me know if you're interested.

As you're experienced to build silent installers, may you glance on over my topic Help ending dBpowerAMP11 silent installation.

Also, i found here a dBpowerAMP10 AutoIt installer it's a user interaction install, and i'm looking for a acomplete silent install. Moreover that AutoIt installer didn't accept Run("dMC-r10.exe <silent>") command.

TNX for any help to solve this dBpowerAMP silent installer.

Sure. But I will try the shareware first. Ey, I don't promise anything so don't expect to much. :P I'm not really good on this, that's why I'm still practicing. And I can't start until next Thursday because I have to study for my exams. :D

Moreover that AutoIt installer didn't accept Run("dMC-r10.exe <silent>") command.

Yeah I was expecting that because the command looks weird and autoit might give you errors. Have you tried running a script in the background and installing the software using the usual silent procedure?

This is what I mean.

1. Run a script with the *WAIT command so it will run in the background and wait for the configuration window.

2. Install the software using your silent switch.

When the config window pops up, your running script in the background will take care of it.

This is just an idea. I'm not sure if it will work.

:)

[edit] I wonder why taskkill doesn't work..
