Takeshi
I've been using RegMon and FileMon for a while.FileMon shows that every time you open a folder in Explorer or do something apparently very simple, Windows processes hundreds or thousands of query and write operations - quite a relevation.Likewise for RegMon. totoymola
That's why they have filtering... filter out the av. spysweeper, etc...Dude, I know about that filtering feature. Did you know that it's limited? You can't fileter as many processes as you want.

Ctwizzy
Dont mean to bump this, just curious if the best place to put these is in the C:\XPCD\$OEM$\$$\System32 so that I can run them directly from the run and cmdline interface?I was planning on using Shortcut.exe as well so I can put them all in a folder under StartMenu\Programs\Admin Toolsthanks!
