techguy21801 Posted April 7, 2005 Share Posted April 7, 2005 hi yall,i think i know the answer already but i'm gonna double check anywaysgot a pc that will boot up and run fine, and shutdown fine, but, after shuting down if i try to tuirn it back on, the system will power up but will not post or anything, i then have to switch the ps switch on then off, and try again and it boots. sounds like a bad psu to me , does anyone concur?thx specs of the box:msi k7n2delta (brand new install)1gb kingmax pc3200athlon 2000+ xp socket apsu allied 400watt dual fan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

techguy21801 Posted April 9, 2005 Author Share Posted April 9, 2005 hmmm....well after switching out another identical working psu, and still having the problem, think i have fixed it, it seems to have been the fsb was not recognizing correctly and/or the board was grounding out. well at least it's fixed if that did but i was afraid i'd have to sacrifice a goat or something over it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
