what3v3r
have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the graphics card driver? thats what i would try. you can also try to boot into safe mode, and see what happens. maybe that helps to locate the problem.if nothing helps, slipstream SP1 and reinstall windows server 2003. its always better to do a fresh install, instead of an upgrade, when a new service pack comes out. MerlinTheWizard
Are you using a patched uxtheme.dll? If so, I think this is the culprit. I'm having the exact same problem with Windows 2003 SP1. If not, well this would be something else...
glasscleaner
naupe you are right that is it!!i fount this.i try to patch/unpatch and this is for that.that's suck!
MerlinTheWizard
Well, MS has updated uxtheme.dll in such a way that the old one is probably not compatible - and since the patched version is based on the old one... now we need someone to patch the new version. easydoesit36
Your in luck! You have to have a new patched uxtheme.dll file to fix the problem. You can e-mail me and I will send. I will post a link which should be working soon. This file is tested and works. uxtheme.dll for XP SP2 doesnt work.Download: http://www.geocities.com/EZduzit34/2k3sp1uxtheme.zip

MerlinTheWizard
Thanks easydoesit.I first checked the archive for virii (obviously, I never trust anything online, plus, you're new here... at least with this nick), and it didn't seem to have any. So I went on...And it works! So, thanks a bunch.
