troycicle
Everytime I redo my computer with my customized installation of XP, I'll install Zone Alarm Security Suite. I'll run something like PowerDVD 6.0, and it will ask me if I want it to connect to the internet. I say always remember these settings, and accept. I have to do this for numerous programs. Where's the file Zone Alarm reads so it knows what programs to accept and deny internet access. I want that file to automatically get put on my hard drive when I install it. I_Broke_My_MHZ
ZoneAlarm Pro has this thing where it can backup settings and restore them. Does ZoneAlarm free have it? It should be in the overview tab.
troycicle
Cool, that will work. I'll have to make a long autoit script to click the restore button, and select the file. Is there another way to restore the xml, or is the only way in the program itself?
Dynamite
troycicleIf you call your file 'config.xml' and put it into your ZoneAlarm folder [\$OEM$\$1\Install\Applications\ZoneAlarm]on your CD. It should pick this up duing installation, mine does.

troycicle
I can't get it to work. I just make a folder on my cd called Software, and WPI calls it from the cd. I put it in the same folder, and called it config.xml. I didn't work though. Are you using Zone Alarm Security Suite?
