Windows 2000 Desktop Icons and 256 colour tray could not be supported on Sleek, because of older files.

About uninstallation problem, try to copy ORIGINAL gdi.exe and gdi32.dll files from Win98 SE CD onto your system.

I tried using the ones off the 98se cd, and the ones that were there before I uninstalled the service pack. After I replaced them, it booted up fine in both cases. Here is some info on the files from the cd, and before and after sesp2.0rc2 was uninstalled.

Im guessing the boot problem is that older oddball gdi.exe file that is in place after uninstallation. And just incase I wasnt clear with this the first time, the same boot failure occured after uninstall on 98se, 98lite chubby, and 98lite sleek.

Nope Imran. The MS05-002 update should NOT be in Gape's SP 2.0 RC2 pack. If it is, I'll remind Gape to remove it as it did cause blue screen startup problems on some Win98SE machines.

Also note to Gape: before final release of SP 2.0 please include HTML Help Files that are included in Windows Server 2003 SP1 Final which are version 5.20.3790.1830.

Obtain MDGx's newer HHUPD.EXE pack now which includes the latest HH files.

Gape i have a question about Polish translation. I'm waiting for it but Polish translator did not release it yet. And my question is: did Pablo contact with you about the sp2.0?? Because i think he discontinue works with sp. Maybe i am wrong so if you know something please tell me about it and i'll be waiting patient. If i'm right maybe you know is there someone who wants to make a PL localization?

Maybe he is waiting for the final release. But he didn't contact me anything about 2.0. And, I don't know anyone who wants to make PL version.
