Gelantious
Does anyone now how to speed up the Remote Desktop client when its Connecting to Terminal Server??When you start the *.rdp file and it say's Connecting.....It takes a sec or two on a fast comp, but since were using old P133MHz it takes like up to two minutes!!Now I have tried Citrix and that works realy fast, SOOO it should be possible to make the MS Client to work as fast as that.OR if there isnt any way to do this, then maybe if you could switch the user without closing the client. Becuase when you logoff the client shut's down. If it would just bring you back to the Logon screen for the Terminal Server it would be great.Anyone know of a solution? LongHorn
The Microsoft "Remote Desktop" feature is bleh. I recommend TightVNC. Its free and fast.I use it all the time.It works with Unix, Windows, and can even use Java to access someone elses computer. It is available for download here.
