Using Winnt.sif On A Cd Upgrade

Recommended Posts

I am upgrading win2000 to winxp pro (retaining all settings) simply by putting in the CD (when logged into win2000) and choosing upgrade.

I have created winnt.sif and put in X:\i386 (X=Cd Drive). Although it seems to partially work I am still asked about the product key (which IS correct), driver signing and the display settings don't set to 1024x768.

What have I missed? :)
