petben
I am upgrading win2000 to winxp pro (retaining all settings) simply by putting in the CD (when logged into win2000) and choosing upgrade.I have created winnt.sif and put in X:\i386 (X=Cd Drive). Although it seems to partially work I am still asked about the product key (which IS correct), driver signing and the display settings don't set to 1024x768.What have I missed? ;SetupMgrTag[Data] AutoPartition=1 MsDosInitiated="0" UnattendedInstall="Yes" AutomaticUpdates=yes[unattended] UnattendMode=FullUnattended DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore TargetPath=\WINDOWS FileSystem =LeaveAlone OemSkipEula=Yes OemPreinstall=Yes NtUpgrade=Yes [GuiUnattended] AdminPassword=* EncryptedAdminPassword=NO OEMSkipRegional=1 TimeZone=85 OemSkipWelcome=1[userData]ProductKey=JG12D-B9Q7X-DR6W4-345HQ-6XASDFullName="st john"OrgName="school"ComputerName=*[Display] BitsPerPel=24 Xresolution=1024 YResolution=768[RegionalSettings] LanguageGroup=1 SystemLocale=00000809 UserLocale=00000809 InputLocale=0809:00000809

petben
Neither the organisation name or CD key is the real one. Is there nothing obvious wrong with the syntax of my winnt.sif file?
