sfetaz
This error occurs during the inital phase of setup after the format of my HD. Then setup restarts the PC.
sfetaz
Any luck nuhi? I have reproduced the error everytime I try to install windows with various ways of doing Nlite and have no idea what is causing it.

nuhi
What's this"ACPI Multiprocessor PC"Are you really having Multiprocessor PC ? Try with deleting that line. Also this is not nlite's SIF, you edited it.
unrealhippie
I would like to add I am suffering this HORRIBLE problem also...It seems to apply to EVERY SINGLE nlite disk I have written for months and months which used to work perfectly!Original CD's fine but any from Nlite are not, some problem with NF4 I am guessing?! (NF3 seem ok)
sfetaz
Updated files with same result:;; Generated by nLite 0.99.8 beta 3;[Data] MsDosInitiated = 0 UnattendedInstall = Yes[unattended] UnattendMode = FullUnattended UnattendSwitch = Yes OemPreinstall = Yes OemSkipEula = Yes FileSystem = * WaitForReboot = No NoWaitAfterTextMode = 1 NoWaitAfterGUIMode = 1 TargetPath = Windows DriverSigningPolicy = Ignore NonDriverSigningPolicy = Ignore Hibernation = No ProgramFilesDir="D:\Program Files" CommonProgramFilesDir="D:\Program Files\Common Files" OemPnPDriversPath="Drivers\001\ULSATA" [Display] Xresolution = 1024 Yresolution = 768 BitsPerPel = 32 Vrefresh = 140[GuiUnattended] AutoLogon = Yes AdminPassword = * OEMSkipRegional = 1 OemSkipWelcome = 1[userData] ProductKey = "sssss-sssss-sssss-sssss-sssss" ComputerName = SFETAZMAIN FullName = "*" OrgName = "*"Same error except the first two errors were shown twice.Last_Session.ini
nuhi
Only one more idea.Try without any tweaks, driver or hotfixes...if that doesn't help then I'll have to wait until that becomes general problem.edit:what's this: OemPnPDriversPathyou were tampering it again If you have floppy drive and your sata drive is only one then try it.Or try virtually with the above suggestion. sfetaz
Wow this is embarassing.I figured out the problem after reading this microsoft article:http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...1&Product=winxpWhat I determined from that and looking at my PC, my D drive last attempted format had been corrupted during the format process. Since I was trying to instal my program files and profiles to D, I assume setup would assign D to the CDROM drive, and this would happen.Doh! Whats the secret?edit:Oh I get it..Nuhi you need a new release...Basically when you change profile path its not formatting the new partition, for examle...XP windows = C:Documents and settings = G:Setup will format C but not G, and the error described at start of thread is given.Basically just make it format!
