I am only using Nlite here, and just tried B3, same result.

Here is my INI file:

sfetaz, tried it and it was flawless...i changed only ProfilePath...Maybe you did something else to your install...or I fixed something in beta4.

Wait for beta 4 and then try again.

I would like to add I am suffering this HORRIBLE problem also...

It seems to apply to EVERY SINGLE nlite disk I have written for months and months which used to work perfectly!

Original CD's fine but any from Nlite are not, some problem with NF4 I am guessing?! (NF3 seem ok)

Only one more idea.

Try without any tweaks, driver or hotfixes...if that doesn't help then I'll have to wait until that becomes general problem.

edit:

what's this: OemPnPDriversPath

you were tampering it again :)

If you have floppy drive and your sata drive is only one then try it.

Or try virtually with the above suggestion.

Wow this is embarassing.

I figured out the problem after reading this microsoft article:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...1&Product=winxp

What I determined from that and looking at my PC, my D drive last attempted format had been corrupted during the format process. Since I was trying to instal my program files and profiles to D, I assume setup would assign D to the CDROM drive, and this would happen.

Doh!

so how do you sort this out? Whats the secret?

edit:

Oh I get it..

Nuhi you need a new release...

Basically when you change profile path its not formatting the new partition, for examle...

XP windows = C:

Documents and settings = G:

Setup will format C but not G, and the error described at start of thread is given.

Basically just make it format!
