rupert86
I have an '89 Suzuki FX 800 minicar. It has a 800cc engine. I got its gearbox etc. 100% repair recently. Now it needs new tires but the mechanic says that the rims are not in as good condition as to accept tubeless radials. I want tubeless tires, and they are only radials, as the nylon-belted bias-ply aren't tubeless. So what considerations should I have when buying new wheel-rims. I want to improve the fuel economy. That's my number 1 priority. I am not going for looks. Just durable and long-life and lightweight so they make the fuel consumption lower.Currently installed tires are 145R12. Also 135R12 and 155R12 can be installed.
