jpeshek
If you want to shrink the source installation you'll need to create 0-byte files to replace unnecessary files. If you only want Nero you can replace everything, just leave the Nero folder and I think it will be down 10Mb (Untested). I cant find anything on Google or MSFN forums describing this procedure. Am I correct to assume that, when trying to shrink NERO by replacing unneccessary files with 0-byte files that they will have to have the same name and extension? If so, can this be done by batch or script?

jpeshek
@ BUCKETBUSTER;Thanks for the fast reply! As usual, if I had examined the .zip file attached, I would have seen all the pre-made 0-biters there. Sorry for my idiocy; thanks for your patience. vcBlackBox
The easiest method I use:redirect directory info to a file.dir/a-d/b/oen/s>0-byte.cmdthen i use an editor like ultraedit and create macrosto simplify the insertion process.
