homiebrah
GM,Seems the ner version that you sent me the link for is not creating the SVC and other folders. It goes straight to finding the boot record, which of course it does not find.Any ideas? The zipped up logfile was sent to the mailing list for thoughts. BaTLeZone
Use this as a giude http://xpcreate.com/current.htm and create them manually or copy from the old one.you will also need the SVC-PRE folder (not listed) and add this update Q818043_W2K_SP5_x86 to your SVC-HF1 folder.see also: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=39202 and/or http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=39062 for more info. homiebrah
Thanks, BZ. I ended up creating the folders based on GM's site, but wanted to ask the question anyways, in case I wasn't the only one.I originally was going to handle it through the mail lists, and wait to see if GM was going to open this forum up to both versions. But, since it appears that it has, I'll know to use it in the future. Now, to get my hotfix lists together for use locally.
GreenMachine
No, the directories are not created anymore, except as needed - or so I had thought. I'll look into it again, as soon as I pass that code again. To be continued ...

GreenMachine
It seemed to me that the SVC-PRE directory was no longer needed by the end-user, and was created by XPCREATE when needed, e.g. for the repackaged IE6.And yes, I did forget about Q818043.
