But I do still use WMP sometimes for some things, possibly to test videos.I just wasn't sure whether it was better to do it in 10 than 9 really. WMP9 MP3 SUPPORT FROM WMP10 by msfn member miko Be careful, backup first(turn off restore/file protection/security apps during operation, be aware that this disables any/all MS tech support rights, and if you want to wait, one standalone installable/uninstallable single app is on the way. It would however require an exe frontend. WMP 10 has an annoying knack of playing 3 video files and then shutting down whenever a fourth is loaded. WMP 9 never did this, plus it doesn't have the stupid now playing blue bar permanently stuck on it.WMP 10 is the biggest waste of space I've ever had the misfortune to download and install.
