REG ADD %KEY%\060 /V 1 /D "msiexec /i \"%SystemDrive%\Install\HotFixes\msrdpcli.msi\" /qb /quiet /norestart" /f

For MS Office XP

ECHO --- Installing MAINSP3ff.msp (OfficeXpSp3-kb832671-fullfile-fra.exe)

START /WAIT msiexec /p FP5AUTLff.msp /a proplus.msi shortfilenames=true /qb

And after MS Office XP installed:

START /WAIT "KB885884" WindowsXP-KB885884-x86-fra.exe /passive /norestart

All the above gives "No Update necessary" in Windows and in Office XP Update :thumbup

XPCREATE\SVC-MSX

        10.703.680 NDP1.1sp1-KB867460-X86.exe

      1.916.536 KB831240.hmtcdwizard_fra.exe

      1.577.248 NDP1.1sp1-KB886903-X86.exe

            3 fichier(s)    14.197.464 octets

Did a search for 886903 in this forum, and loh and behold..... thank you mdes for listing it and where it goes! This has saved me mucho time..... :thumbup (ok, that would have been my 1st guess, but it feels good to know for certain.)

EDIT: The is no need for SCRIPTFR.EXE update :blushing:

Thanks, mdes. I am still surprised that you need the SCRIPTFR.EXE update ...

I read somewhere that this version came after SP2: that why I put it.

In the scriptfr.inf, there is

DriverVer = 08-09-2004, 5.6.0.8825

I have the 886903 update in the right folder (SVC-MSX) and everything appears to install properly, but when I go to windows update, it tells me that I still need to install 886903. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Welcome to MSFN, spline!

I haven't heard that complaint before. I do seem to remember that there are multiple versions of files with that same name, so I can only suggest you verify that it is indeed the correct file. THere are links on the XPCREATE Web Site.

@spline: Change RENAMEF=YES in SPCREATE.INI

See http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...st=0&p=271125

SVCPACK.INF contains:

    [setupHotfixesToRun]    ...

    NDP11S~1.EXE /QN

    NDP11S~2.EXE /QN

    ...

So, because NDP1.1sp1-KB886903-X86.exe is applied _BEFORE_ NDP1.1sp1-KB867460-X86.exe, Win Updates says that it has to be updated

With RENAMEF=YES, there is no such problem.
