I have been thinking about deploying an active desktop to all computers and laptops within the organization. I would like to include the following information on each desktop background.- computer name- user name- domain- IP address- free space on a network personal folder etcIn addition I would like to have an option to put some important messages about critical network system changes etcHow can I do that? It is my understanding that all the above have to be some sort system variables or some thing like that because info will be different for everyone. Has anyone done this? Thanks a lot.
