Registry tweaks to work?

Recommended Posts

Ok to get all of this to work. I download it all make $OEM$ and make all the C:/XPCD/$OEM$/ and all the sub folders. And now how do i make all the tweaks work. Do i put tweaks in Notepad and save it as something.cmd and stick it in $OEM$ and then just run it?

if u dont know how 2 make a registry file (.REG) u should learn :P

its the easiest way

u can put them in $OEM$ & make cmdlines.txt (both in root dir of $OEM$ & call regtweaks.reg from that so its run @ T-12

Ok Thanks! Well I got as far as making all the regtweaks.reg files and etc. But i got lost here

Lastly, copy & paste these lines to one of your batch files:

ECHO.

ECHO Applying Registry Tweaks...

REGEDIT /S %systemdrive%\install\RegTweaks.reg

The batch files i made?what batch files?

If you want to run it from a batch file you can, but it is so much easier to run it from the cmdlines.txt file. This file and your regtweaks.reg file should both be in the same folder. The link I gave you a bit ago shows you how to use the cmdlines.txt file. It's worth it.
