ildhat Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 Blob fish. That thing looks terrible human-like :S
prathapml Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 ****! There you go again with your bold-formatted posts.... its really irritating you know!Back on topic, those pics are so sad to see....I was hoping to see a mermaid or something - now THAT would be interesting.
LoLo Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 Wow, weird stuff we never seen is all over this planet. I saw some weird things when I was a diver for Chevron doing pipeline inspections on there offshore couplings where they unloaded the big fuel tankers. 140 feet deep and all kinds of strange crap was out there... Cool pics man!
Synapse Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 awesome! all the stuff that stay deep in the water that we rarely research or find.
gamehead200 Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v319/D00ooD/gunard.jpgThat one is really weird...
matrix0978 Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 Yeah i with gamehead. These are some scary fish lol
mark Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 I guess I'm a spoilsport. But it looks to me like the photos are from a deep sea research vessel. One of the photos has a fish with a label that indicates so. I don't think they would be picking up fish for research in that region right now anyway. To say the least, it would look really bad.@prathapml We have mermaids here in the US! First seafares into Florida saw the native manatees and thought they were mermaids. I've seen them and I can't see how they saw anything feminine about them. Their alternate name of seacow is more appropriate.http://www.marinewallpaper.com/misc/manatee.jpghttp://www.unc.edu/~healdric/Penny/manatee.jpg
studguy1 Posted January 15, 2005 Posted January 15, 2005 It is an Urban Legend.IT has already been bashed on Slashdot

SiMoNsAyS Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 (edited) Although they are genuine images of some rather strange deep-sea creatures...blob fish and gunard, those are weird for sure Edited January 17, 2005 by SiMoNsAyS
