Dabbler
Best way to replace hard drive is to use a dual head ide cable to temporarily hook up both drives (remember to set jumpers as master and slave) and use Ghost or Dirve Image to clone the old drive to the new one. You can expand partitions on new drive to take advantage of additional HD space while cloning. Then remove old drive and use original single head IDE cable. I prefer Norton Ghost for flexibility. Lay the second hard drive in the base of the case so it touches metal and is grounded. Also cloning software likes the new drive to be the master.
