WMP10 Slipstreamer Version 1.1

Recommended Posts

when i copy files to uxpcd . it didn't ask me to overwrite any files.

is this normal?

(yeah i copied files into the i386 folder and not the cd root)

If you remove the WMP9 with the nLite and install the WMP10, it will display like that...

"This version Windows Media does not complicate with this version of Windows."

so if you want to install the WMP10, don't remve WMP with nLite.

I had experienced this problem and ask the problem in this forum..

but!! I think that remaking the unattended xp cd is a good solution.

Hey Bashrat, please update the download link on your Homepage...it still says V10 and not V11...but V11 is on the server.

And could there be an option to integrate WMP with the help of this batchfile into the XPCD per nLite?? Would be great!!!

@Bâshrat the Sneaky

I think you also need to have this key entered into your hives somehow, if you want to disable the "first-time run" dialogs of WMP10.

;Media Player License Autoaccept
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsMediaPlayer]
"GroupPrivacyAcceptance"=dword:00000001

i'm also curious about this...

I am a little bit confused :blushing:

Do I have to edit hivedef.inf as instructed on the first page?

Or do I have to edit HIVESYS.INF as was said in Obliviator's thread:

http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=35042&st=0

Doesn't matter! ;):D

I'll try to update this batch file with the other reg entries soon...

hey Bâshrat the Sneaky

instead of having people do the batch file

y not provide a sfx w/ the modified files and for them to just

extract to their i386 folder?

also there is a problem with registering the toolbar player

here is the fix

"regsvr32 C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmpband.dll"

This is an easy, obvious one...

do you think everyone uses the English version???

;)

I'll see about that fix.

To everyone:

I hope to update the batch file saturday/sunday, but I don't promise I'll have the time!
