Remove Logos

Hey guys, B)

I think I have been asking to many questions lately. So here is another one. On the set-Up screen, if we don't want certain things, can we delete them. (Logos For Example). Reading the other posts, I understood, that the text on the left side (Set-Up will Complete For Example and so on) an not be moved up or down or sideways RIGHT?.

Those 5 animated boxes on right bottom coner, can they be replaced with something else. ( For Example My own Animation, or other Picture type.) What are my option. If anyone can help me with these questions, I would be really thankful. Sorry if I am asking to many questions.

Pretty much any logo can be taken out or removed all together. I do not know the locations, but simply mess around with Resource Hacker, or whatever program you use, and look at the pics and see which ones you want and which you don't.

I beleive most of the information can be found on this forum, somewhere. Finding it is the hard part!

I'm using ResEdit to hack winntbbu.dll. So, If I wanted to remove all of the Windows Xp logos, I could do so safely and Windows Setup won't quack at me?

You can replace the resources, but you shouldn't remove it altogether. Plus, don't forget to "modifype -c" the winntbbu.dll.
