XtremeMaC Posted December 18, 2004 Share Posted December 18, 2004 well its pretty easy.but it depends on which brand the laptop isi'll explain for mine: dell insipron 8200.on the right side there is an infra-red slot which is like a black plastic.under it there is a screw. u have to unscrew it then, gently pull down. then pull it to the right side and the hdd will just come off.after this u'll have to unscrew the screws that attach the hdd to the slot. after that just replace the old one with the new, put in the screws. then push the whole thing into the slot and thats it.since there are no cables its easy...
