Anyone knows a way to correct this?
Astalavista
is your net framework administrative or the standard?
tantanoid
It's administrative. Where can i download the standart? By the way, when i run an msi installer i get an error about a nonfunctioning Installshield service, though the silent instalations of msis went well... prathapml
The original installer is just too heavy.Download the re-packed .NET fw SP1 installer from here - http://ryanvm.net/msfn/. It is already tailor-made for silent install, no switches needed, just execute it.

totoymola
i created a silent installer for myself too. but is isn't as small as ryan's installer. i can upload it if anyone is interested.Edit: Here it is. This is just an alternative. Of course, ryan's installer is better because it is smaller.http://tinyurl.com/6shtp
sleepnmojo
i am curious (as always hehe) to know how to slipstream the sp1 into the packageAnyone care to know the info on this or ryan, is this another really complex one? Its called the search button. Check the unattended section, it has more info on it.To explain why the person was having the original problem; its because you are running the msi off the cd. It needs to be run off the hd. Donno why it is like that for the dotnet package, but it is. Ryan's package should work, because it will extract to the hd first, then run the msi. Milgathia
Is it possible to integrate a language pack inside the installer? I am not able to see the framework starting in italian and that's quite strange because i'm sure I've downloaded the italian versions of the installers and patches.Kind Regards
