Win Server 2003 SP1 RC1

Same Problem:

SP1 adds a new setupldr.bin that I cannot change/edit without having an error "ntldr is corrupt".

I tried with the old one from Server 2003 but I had an error "cannot copy setup16

.inf file".

I continued the installation and no more errors but I'm not sure it is the best solution.

Hi folks, I'm a newbiew to this unattended multi-dvd stuff. I'm trying to place windows 2003 enterprise SP1 with other OS in one dvd, but I get the following error "NTLDR is corrupt, the system cannot boot" when i try to boot. If any of you Gurus can help on this I would be grateful. A step by step instructions would be nice :D

Thanks in advance

No, no one has found a solution yet. Everyone seems to be happy using the old one. Unless of course you are trying to put WinPE (based off W2k3 SP1) on a multi-boot ISO. Or trying to add 64bit installs to your ISO.

I'm working on it, but no luck so far.

Hi there!

Thanks for the tip about keeping the old Setupldr.bin version.

It helps but...

When entering GUI part of the setup (T39), I get this boring unrecoverable error :

Une erreur s'est produite empêchant le programme d'installation de continuer.
Les structures internes de données d'installation sont endommagées (phase 0).
Appuyer sur OK pour afficher le fichier enregistrement de l'installation.

Where do I made a mistake ?

edit : content of the setuperr.log :

Les structures internes de données d'installation sont endommagées (phase 0).

Does anyone have a solution to setupldr.bin from Server 2003 Sp1 ?

To all who are using the old setupldr.bin, please post your results.

Now I dont know how to do this but if new setupldr.bin is just crc checking itself for corruption couldnt the crc value patched somewhere??

Isnt this problem like patching your uxtheme.dll file and using it in setup?
