Well i've tried basically everything i can think of and im still stuck with this error...Warning: mysql_pconnect() [function.mysql-pconnect]: Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\indexDynamicListings.php on line 21Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL clientThe set up is as follows:Apache 2.0.52PHP 5.0.2Zend Optimizer 2.5.7MySQL 4.1.7 Essential (Tried using the normal package too).all on WinXP PRO SP2.I tried switching back to Apache 1.3.33 also, but it was to no avail. aKaFrEE
Well I managed to get it to work by switching back down to MySQL 4.0.22. But if anyone comes up with a way to fix that problem, i'll be more than willing to try it out again.
