$OEM$ Folder not copying itself to HD..

Recommended Posts

the $OEM$ folder not copying itself to the hard disk for some reason..

the only change i made since the last time i tested the disk was creating a user controlled winnt.sif ... i don't know how this change could effect.. i got some other problem when using user controlled winnt.sif - when i'm changing the user name to, say "Adiel" , after installation , i need to log in as administrator and my user "Adiel" is not shown in the welcome screen ..

here's my winnt.sif :

Well, kenedy was saying so humorously, I guess.

But even in a serious vein, this one's got to be simply the Q asked the most number of times - your search must have done something strange to not turn up the answer. Anyways, the solution is seen now, and all the best for your CD. :thumbup

And finally, posting your key publicly is a bad idea (edited out now).

you should be able to just add this to your registry tweaks with the proper usernames, etc...

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

;Replace InsertName value with the Username you want to autologin with.

;Replace InsertPassword value with the password corresponding to the Username specified.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]

"DefaultUserName"="InsertName"

"DefaultPassword"="InsertPassword"

"AutoAdminLogon"="1"
