Stuntgp2000
Hello everyoneI don't know if I did something wrong, but I need your info in this matter.I created my bootable unattened CD of Windows XP and It works without problems. It does not ask me for anything at all, however I noticed that if I want to install Windows XP after installing 98 ( setup run from win98 ), it asks me to enter the serial. Is this the normal action of Windows XP Setup if run from Win98, or I missed something ?Thanks in advance
Tsunami
I believe it always asks for a serial when you run the setup from Windows.
ToBe
When you run the setup from a win32 environment, it won't read the winnt.sif.What you do is specify an answerfile in the setup command line, for example:winnt32.exe /unattend:winnt.txtWhere winnt.txt is a renamed winnt.sif, with the same content.
