phonedog911
i dont really use outlook much cuz there are other mail clients that i like better, so i went to the control settings and removed it. well, not only did nothing actually get removed, my login is still telling me i have "3 unchecked messages" that i thought would be deleted when i removed outlook. i tried opening outlook and looking into my "store folder", but i deleted everything in there manually and the login screen still thinks i have messages. anybody know whats up? also, is there a way to really uninstall outlook and the other ms progs that i dont need? jpatto
To uninstall Outlook use Add or Remove programs and look for office and select change. To uninstall Outlook EXPRESS use the add or remove panel and look for Add/Remove Windows components and youll find outlook express. To change the count on the Welcome screen telling you how many mails you have try going into regeditGo to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\UnreadMail Double-click the value MessageExpiryDays in the right pane, and change the value to 0 Sorry for the many answers but i wasnt 100% sure what you needed fixed.
