Crispy Posted September 28, 2002 Posted September 28, 2002 I just wanna know if there is a program that change all the windows XP systems icon at once???I found this cool icon set, but im to lazy to apply it manually ...Anyone got such a program and some cool icon sets???

There are several programs that will 'manage' your icons, including replacing system, folder, and many application icons. Replace each icon with the one you want, save as C:\shell32.dll, boot to dos, copy to c:\windows\system32\dllcache\shell32.dll AND C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386\shell32.dll AND c:\windows\system32\shell32.dll.It's easier than it looks, AND IT WORKS!Or go here in the registry: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID and search for defaulticon. Or go to folder options\filetypes\change icon.Save a backup copy of the original first, just in case. also save a copy of the hacked version.
