Ge0ph
My first suggestion would be to go buy a copy of XP and install it.Why?I don’t think it’s very smart to be advertising that you are using a pirated copy of a Microsoft Enterprise product. And for your use, XP would be much better.
FAT64
That's a serious accusation, Ge0ph. I don't see the words "pirated copy of Microsoft Enterprise product". It may imply that, but not explicitly.
Ge0ph
I'm sure if someone paid around $1500 for software, they would have the CD. He clearly said that a friend installed it so he doesn't have the CD, meaning "He doesn't have the CD"All of that is really a moot point because it is obvious that (no offence clouds) XP is more his level of OS. That’s why I said XP would be better for his use.
CoffeeFiend
my friend reformatted my computer to windows 2003 so i dont have the Cd sounds pretty obvious to me too...I think you'd be better off with another windows than a server OS for your uses anyways (like XP). FAT64
What I'm really saying is "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone".
army20
@clouds: Do you really need a Windows Server, do you need and use DNS server, DHCP server, Terminal server, Active directory on a regular dailly base ???¿¿ . Ge0ph is right, you should use WindowsXP.
