lock1701
Hi, this may or may not be a silly question, but it can't harm to ask. While reading through the msfn guide for slipstreaming office 2003,http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/office2003_slipstreaming.htmin section 1 you are told to'Set the Install Location to: C:\Office2003\'is this just to where the patching is done or to where the slipstreamed copy of office will be eventually installed when you use the disc in future or do you choose the 'true' installation path at the time of install ??? Thnx in advance.p.s. tried doing a search but came across nothing relavant.
moo
@lock1701It's where the patching is done. You're creating administrative point at this location. This could be any other location which you like, just remember name and change it acordinly. Also, you can use it for future updates.hope helps, moo
mazin
C:\Office2003\ is where you'd have the slipstreamed copy, ready steady, for future installation from anywhere to anywhere.
