jorsak
I've created a batch file that allows me to do a silent install of a number of diagnostics utilities in win 2K and Win xp.I'm trying to re-write it for win 9x.The problem I'm having is that I don't know the root drive on all these machines. They could change. In win 2K/XP I use the command %systemdrive% to determine this. That doesn't work in win 9x and I've seen the command %windir% (if memory serves) but I've had no luck with it either. Can someone tell me how to determine the main system drive in Win9x? jorsak
EXCELLENT! I can't wait to try this. Ihad just resorted to using the drive letter C and knowing that if the system drive was anything other than C, I couldn't use my little app. Most systems have a C as their root, but who wants to count on that. Thanks so much.
