Fraggar
I created my WinXP lite edition, everything works perfect, but one thing:My network card isn't working. It did not find my ISA network card when installing, so I added it manually.I installed the correct driver (Realtek RTL 8019).But now Windows XP says: "The device cannot start (Code 10)"The Windows 98 which was installed on this pc before had no problems with this network card, so it should work since nothing has changed. While creating the nlite image, I did not remove the "Ethernet (LAN)" from "drivers" but removed almost everything of the rest.Does anybody have a solution for this problem?Did I remove an essential thing maybe? Thanks in advance.Edit: Hmm maybe I should post this in the nlite forum? ChunkDog
Try Reseating the card in the ISA slot. Most of the time I've seen that error, the card just needed to be reseated. Not sure if it will help you, but it's worth a try.
Fraggar
Try Reseating the card in the ISA slot. Most of the time I've seen that error, the card just needed to be reseated. Not sure if it will help you, but it's worth a try. Thanks for your reply, but unfortunately it's not the solution.I tried the card in both the ISA slots. It works with win98 without installing any driver except the win98 install cd.So I think it's really a nlite edition problem.I did not remove the 'Ethernet (LAN)' part, so all the drivers should still be there, but that's not what I experience.Maybe a moderator could move this topic to the nlite forum?Or should I create a topic there?
