cakersq
I have many CD's that I have created with the help of the many unattended forums here (thanks guys). I have one CD that just the default settings (no unattended setup) but with Service Pack 2 slipstreamed into it. The CD works perfectly for installing Windows. The problem is that the CD will no longer upgrade a windows 2000 machine to Windows XP. When running the setup in Windows, I get a "Windows XP Pro cannot upgrade Windows 2000 Pro."Is there a way to slipstream SP2 into Windows and still be able to upgrade? ChunkDog
Although I dont have a solution to your progblem, you are better off doing a fresh install of Windows XP than an upgrade.

Windows has a hard enough time running, even when it's a fresh install.Unfortunatly, I have to upgrade 10 machines, while keeping the user information, programs and documents intact. Thanks anyways... ChunkDog
Weel, the only thing I can think of is that your 2000 machines are not up to date. Make sure that they all have SP4 installed and have all the scurity updates.
