Guest LouCypher Posted October 18, 2001 Share Posted October 18, 2001 Ummm, I'm guessing to mean the stupid "Search Assistant" and dumbed down interface that's step by step and nothing like the old way? You know, "What do you want to search for?"There's a part that says "You may also want to..." and has "Change Preferences". You can pick these under "How do you want to use Search Companion?":"Without an animated screen character", and then choose "Change files and folders search behavoir" to "Advanced".
