TomcaT Posted October 20, 2004 Share Posted October 20, 2004 I have come across this today on a PC, they only thing the user has installed recently is SP2, as an upgrade not a clean install..... so I wondering what else could have caused this.Eventually you get through to the desktop by pressing enter on all of the error boxes and then log in, but I just get a blank screen, can see the wallpaper and can get the taskmanager but nothing else. I also tried to run explorer.exe from the task manager but to no avail and the same error messages.PC is a P4 2.8 with 256mb and 80gb HD, it is about 5 months old and was working fine before the SP2 install.... but could just be a coincidence.Thanks in advance.
