ncc68
There is only one hard-disk (and one partition) in my system running Win XP. I do not understand why F is being used as the drive letter for the system drive. I cannot change the drive letter under Disk Management as Windows prompted me that I'm attempting to change a system drive.Would very much appreciate if any one can help me with this.PS. I have recently passed my hard-disk to a colleague for recovery. Could it be due to this? Thanks.
jmccord
If you installed Windows with a zip drive hooked up on your system it probably is listed as your "C" drive. This is a bug in the Windows XP installation. The best thing to do in that situation is a debug, repartition, and format. Then unhook your Zip and try again (I have done this many times!).I hope this helps, jmccord
