sorry guys

i don't know perhaps i have problem with the board

the last message on that thread that i can read is this

I'm still about, I just haven't had a chance yet to get my other system up, been having problems with my back and seizures recently, I should have it ready by tommorow at the latest.  Will get back to you then about it.

Thanks for letting me know. Shoot me an IM for an updated test (and hopefully final) version.

i was searching for that solution:

integrate kb884020 but with patched tcpip.sys directly

hope i'm not just gone mad... :(

i looked...

what to say probably i'm stupid...

i read

2.) Yes, you'll be replacing the file in i386 on your CD. The problem is that when KB884020.exe runs from svcpack.inf, it's going to overwrite your patched tcpip.sys which was copied from i386 with the unpatched version from the EXE.

I've nearly got a solution for this problem ready to go, though

that solution is my solution...

boh... :wacko:

hi all sorry for yesterday but it was 5 AM here in ITaly...

@Alanoll

I know how to integrate the hotfix... my problem is seaching a method to integrate it WITH the tcpip.sys modded for limited connection

I think it is what RyanVM is trying to do...

@RyanVM

glad to know i'm not mad :D

i will gald to help you but i didn't understand well what is the pooint?

are trying to dissasemble the hotfix installation?

in my small working i was thinking to not install or iintegrate the patch at all

but recreate that condition

I mean import all reg key that hotfix create and then change the tcpip.sys

but i don't know what's about the .cat file (if it is necessary)

hope you all don't slap me again :hello:

I don't think the cat file is necessary, but it's still very easy to copy it into the system32\CatRoot\{F750E6C3-38EE-11D1-85E5-00C04FC295EE} folder.

And trying nothing, I've got the method worked out already (and it's successful). I'm just waiting on verification that HighMAT works and I'm releasing it.

The one thing is that I'm doing it for the English version of Windows. However, other languages shouldn't be too hard to do, is it will only mean changing some files and editing an INF.
