Both have same socket/pin layout. Overcloking wise (not that I bother with it or care about it) it also depends on the processor's stepping (and not all motherboards are as good for the job either). If you go mobile, get a I stepping instead of a A stepping.

because the stock speed doesnt mean much to me, weird you say but if i can overclock the 2800+ to 2.4ghz stable yet i could overclock a mobile 2600+ to 2.7ghz then what is the point in stock speed to me it is just a sticker on the box similar to the overclocking voids warrenty one.

whatever chip i get will be overclocked to the maximum.
