prathapml
@leodioSince I see that you use classic desktop as well as classic start menu, use BOTH these settings in winnt.sif :[Shell] DefaultStartPanelOff=No DefaultThemesOff=NoDo post back on how it goes. prathapml
Well, I left it so that someone or the other would see it and explain it....Anyways, I don't really think those keys are difficult to understand - the names and descriptions itself do the explaining! war59312
Anyone haveing the **** explorer refresh bug? Some tweak here is causing it.This does not work either or any thing close to it:http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/628/You know like for example if u delete a file and it goes to the receycle bin, well explorer should refresh automatticly so the icon changes to the full and then when you delte it goes back to empty icon of course. Well this is not happening since its not refreshing. And its very very annorying since its not just the recycle bin. Thats just an example. Thanks for any help, Will

MarcJ
I've deleted the {59031a47-3f72-44a7-89c5-5595fe6b30ee} in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\ CurrentVersion\Explorer\My Computer\NameSpace\DelegateFolders but still can't physically delete the Shared Documents folder found in the All Users profile. It still complains that it's a Windows system folder and can't be deleted. Is this because it's got WFP enabled on the folder? You can try this:To unregister:start > run command > type - regsvr32 /u mydocs.dll Then go hereC:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documentsand hereC:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documentsand delete the these folders.----------------------------------------------------------------To register again:start > run > type - regsvr32 mydocs.dll Thats also how you can get rid of the other stupid folders like my pictures and my music, etc.cya, WillI don't have mydocs.dll installed on my system. I removed it and all references to it from my source CD before I installed. I'm betting that Shared Documents is just being protected by WFP.
