How do you setup\configure IEAK6.

I want to custom setup my IE & OE during my xp unattended install. I want to make my own custom settings in each app.

But, I have no clue on how to use IEAK6. Or what settings to use.

I prefer the layout of making a unattended answer file for XP. hehe

Since IE6 is already a part of XP, I reccommend not using IEAK. I did that, and it ended up causing me some weirdness (like strange entries in Add/Remove Programs).

I now do all my customizations for IE6 via reg edits. Here are all of the ones that I use:

Normally you can only use "file.isp" (i.e., IEAK settings) while setting up IE. But since integrating XP SP2 will eliminate the need to install IE6, we need some other way - and winnt.sif gives that - you can specify (in SetupMgr, while making your winnt.sif) the location of the IEAK-created file to configure IE with.

I don't know of OE, someone else might trip along to this thread and tell you about that.

mines configured to use imap4 instead of pop3 so you'll need to make changes there
